Grasshopper crazy-up Kinect with Diabolical Pitch

Grasshopper Manufacture’s Kinect project has been given a name and new details.

Diabolical Pitch is the title, and it’s not describing the developer’s pitch to the game’s publisher, rather the game’s mad take on baseball. Players will have to pitch balls and swing bats, not to win intense games of the sport, rather take down hordes of enemies. A lot of those enemies will be wearing mascot outfits. Duh.

A two-player mode will also let you fist bump to power up a fireball and strike down a heap of foes. Yep, that sounds pretty much like a Grasshopper game.

It’s set to hit XBLA later this year, though a more specific date hasn’t been announced.
