$50 Red Dead Redemption GOTY saddling up in October

Rockstar Games’ award-winning open-world Western Red Dead Redemption is getting a game of the year edition, and it’s coming soon.

Due out next month on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for $50, Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition will include the game (of course!) and all previously released downloadable content.

DLC included includes the Undead Nightmare pack, the Legends and Killers Pack, the Liars and Cheats pack, the Hunting and Trading Outfits pack, the Outlaws to the End mission pack, all pre-order content, the Solomon’s Folly single-player gang hideout, and the just-released Myths and Mavericks bonus pack.

“We wanted to create a world that captured the spirit of the Western,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We are thrilled that Red Dead Redemption‘s vision of the West resonated with so many people.”

As mentioned, the Red Dead Redemption GOTY Edition is due out in just a month, in North America on October 11 and internationally on October 14.
