Codemasters vet sets up new studio

AppId is over the quota

The Darling brothers might have founded the critically acclaimed studio that has become Codemasters, but one of them isn’t done just yet. In his next undertaking, David Darling is targeting smartphones with his Lemington Spa-based Kwalee, using “innovation and creativity harnessed to enthrall” to develop “unique and rewarding” apps.

“Kwalee is different,” said the company in a statement. “We seek to excite and entertain our customers with innovative new products that provide special experiences. Our ethos is based around a set of core values that put the customer first and which harness the creative skills of our staff to the maximum in order to do so.”

Not much more is known about Kwalee at this point in time. The company hasn’t even got a logo yet, let alone an app, but we bet it won’t be too long before we get a glimpse of things to come.
