Windows 8 dev build downloads at 500k

Here’s a quick but interesting one: the development build of Windows 8 — which launched less than 2 days ago — has already reached half a million downloads, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer revealed during his keynote at the BUILD conference in California yesterday.

The new OS has a brand new look and feel, also bringing with it Xbox Live for Windows.
